Ang kasaysayan ng barangay Antikin ay may kaugnayan sa isang mahabang ilog na siyang tinatawiran ng mga kababaihan na nagbebenta ng mga kagamitang pambabae tulad ng hikaw, kwintas at pulseras.

At upang makatawid sa sinasabing ilog ay kinakailangang sumakay sa isang balsa na ginagamitan ng tikin para marating ang daungan.
